Dana has been practicing massage therapy since 1990. She has remained engaged with bodywork and fitness since the mid 1980s, transitioning from bodybuilding and personal training to yoga and massage therapy, adding in other modalities through the years. During this time, a meditation and mindfulness practice evolved as well.
Additional education includes an undergraduate degree, life & professional experience in Mental Health with a focus on drug addiction/rehabilitation, various types of psychotherapy including somatic work, breath work, Buddhist oriented approaches, trauma informed education and therapy. This pairs well with a Master's Degree and licensure to teach special education on a K12 level. Several years of teaching in Metro schools and private mental health settings served to enhance Dana's knowledge and education around trauma and the brain and further information on healing those injuries. A certified pediatric massage therapist, Dana works on minors with parental permission from age 14-17.

Dana is a local Middle Tennessean and East Nashville resident since the mid 1990's and is conveniently located in the Tom Joy Neighborhood off of Lischey Avenue between Trinity Lane and Douglas Avenue. Directions provided upon appointment being scheduled.
